While travelling, fast becoming difficult and broke the fast, does the person have to just keep a qada fast or is there also some kaffarah?
Question
While travelling if a musafir made intention to keep fast (ramadan fast) before Sehri and later in the day it became difficult or the person perceived the fast becoming difficult and broke the fast, does the person have to just keep a qada fast or is there also some kaffarah?
Answer
In the case mentioned above, only one Qadhaa is required. Kaffaarah will not apply.
