I live in canada and am planning to purchase an apartment in pakistan. Would I be paying Zakaat on this apartment

Question

I live in canada and am planning to purchase an apartment in pakistan.

This apartment would be used by me whenever I am in pakistan. Rest of the time it would be closed and nobody else would use it. My duration of stay in pakistan would be approx 4 weeks per year or less.

Would I be paying Zakaat on this apartment

You do not have to pay Zakaat on the apartment.
