if a person having a Land with intention to make house on it, or to save for some purpose, should he pay Zakat on it

Question

1) if a person having a Land with intention to make house on it, or to save for some purpose, should he pay Zakat on it. (2) If he have to pay money for deceased parent's, namaz and roaza, to whom the money in this regard can be given. Jazakallah.

Answer

1. There is no Zakaat on the land. (Tahtawi pg.714)

2. The money should be given to the poor and needy. (Aap ke Masaail pg.393)
