What fundamental verses are read in namaaz and what proceedures are involved? Also what procedures are required for reading namaaz behind the Imam in a mosque?

Answer

Surah Fatiha has to be recited in every Rakaat with another surah. This surah could be an entire surah or at least three short verses or one long verse.

When performing salah behind the Imam, then we keep silent while the Imam recites.
