I purchase one flat with the intension of using it personally. i decided to sell that flat but till now it is not sold Do i have to give zakat for that flat if yes then how much.

As salam o alaykum Sir, Right now i am in saudi arabia. I purchase one flat in india with the intension of using it personally (uptill now not used. it is closed). but after gujarat riots i decided to sell that flat but till now i could not because of sensitive area nobody is interested to purchase. Do i have to give zakat for that flat if yes then how much. Thanks and jazakumullaho khair

There is no Zakaat on the flat.
