bought a laptop and paid 200 dollars to buy a service plan. It covers any damage caused by regular use of the laptop for 3years. Is this type of service plan permisible?

I bought a laptop and paid 200 dollars to buy a service plan. It covers any damage caused by regular use of the laptop for three years. Is this type of service plan permisible? InshaAllah Allah Ta'ala will reward you for helping me.

Answer

It is permissible to purchase a laptop together with the service plan. The 200 dollars will be regarded as part of the purchase price of the laptop.
