What is the difference between the wedding ring & engagement ring & on which hand should ring be put?

Answer

Islam does not recognise a wedding ring or an engagement ring. These are customs of the kuffaar.

Women are allowed to wear rings of gold and silver while men can wear a silver ring weighing less than 4.3 grams. A ring can be worn on any hand.
