I have some confusion in the Neyya ( NEEAT) Of Namaz. Plz clearify Me The Neeya (NEEAT) Of Sunnat..Farz..And Nafal Namaz
Answer
Niyyah simply means to intend in your mind that you are performing a certain salah.
For fard salah it will be necessary for you to intend that you are performing such and such a salah eg. Zuhr salah of today, while for nafl salah, all you have to do is make niyyah that you are performing salah. The same would apply to sunnah salah. (Imdaadul Fattaah Pg.240-242)
