I am 39 years old muslim lady, I dont know why my family had delayed my marriage till now.
Question
I am doing job to earn for my living, no one is there to support me, as my parents have passed and my siblings are busy in their families. A person hs showed me his interest in me, but that would be his 2nd marriage which he doesnt want to disclose to his wife, my sister has refused to accept that proposal, I sometime get too frustrated and do things which are prohibited for muslims, like masturbation, and I repent myself and ask Allah for forgiveness. What shall I do please guide me as now I am tired of doing job and want to have a home and a loving husband who could take care of me, Shall I marry that person on my own. Please tell me some Dua'a to get married soon. I will be very much thankful to you Allah Hafiz

Unfortunately western civilization impacted greatly on our lives through media, TV and Movies. Education and goals of status and acquiring wealth have become priority not fulfilling the natural requirements physical and emotional of a human being. It is a very sad state of affair.%0D%0A%0D%0ANevertheless do not despair in the Mercy of Allah Ta'ala, seek forgiveness sincerely in Allah Ta'ala for resorting to masturbation in these weak circumstances. Masturbation weakens the body and is detested. Focus on would you want your death to be in this state? But then how does one control passions? Fasting and don't focus too much on need to satiate desires. However express your desire to marry to friends or family to seek a suitable marriage partner. Don't just choose anyone in despair and land into another problem. Search for Deeni compatibility also. If you do not find someone do not despair it's not a disaster.
