earning from music website haram?, seeing earthquake in dream, praying with half sleeves allowed?, meaning of name Ma'arab
Question
1) i designed a music site a few months ago with my friend. i have left it cause it is haram. it has some ads displayed on it which are from a third party. is haram for me to take the money coming from the ads? as i have left any contribution to the site and the ads refer to links of site which i have not created though the ads are on the music site. 2) earthquake comes in dream often in which the earth opens. what does it mean? 3) can a women wear half sleeves or transparent cloths covered by big shawl while praying even if she is in her room with her husband only. 4) are credit card services haram as the providers claim that they are only taking service charges? 5) please also tell me the meaning fo the name Ma'arab.
Answer
1. It is Haraam (strictly prohibited) for you to be associated with the music site in any way, that includes taking money from ads on the music site.
2. Erthquakes is a sign of qiyaamat being near.
3. If the shawl covers the exposed area of the hands and the transparent clothes, then it is permissible to perform Salaat in that condition.
4. It is permissible and would be considered as a service fee.
