Question

1).Is it wrong for a woman to recite the Quraan Sharief or Yaseen, etc, wearing a scarf but wear a top or dress with short sleeves if she sits in her room alone or her husband is around?. 2). Are you allowed to relax on the bed and recite tasbeeh without a scarf on your head?

Answer

It is permissible for a female to recite the Qur?aan or make Tasbeeh while in her casual dress in the confines of her home and only in the presence of her husband and Mahrams (people one cannot marry)
