My friend wants to become a hair dresser,and do make-up for people is it haraam for her to cut peoples hair and beautify women.

Answer

It is not permissible to become a hairdresser as that will also entail one dressing the hair in ways that is against the Shari?ah, e.g. cutting and trimming.
