Fatwa #1161912 May 2004United Kingdom

what are the meaning of the following names, {AKIKUR RAHMAN} and {ABEDA KHATUN}and where do these names originate

Answer

AKIK = cornelian -a hard reddish translucent mineral, a form of chalcedony, used as a gemstone
ARAHMAN = one of Allah's names
Therefore akikur rahman = Arahmaan's akik (which is not advisable to keep as it does not make sense)
&
ABEDA = a worshipper (a person who does ibadat)
KHATUN = lady
