Can you please tell me if my wife can leave our home without asking me first.Would it be considered wrong if she told me that she wanted to go shopping for example without asking my permission?

Basically I need to know if my wife has the right to tell me what she wants to do as apposed to asking me

Answer

Rasulullah [Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam] is reported to have said that the best women is she who obeys her husband and does not do anything against the wish of her husband. (Nasaaie vol.2 pg.71)

We advise you consider giving your wife permission if necessary.
