What is the Islamic Ruling of controling Jinn?

Question

Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi writes in his book 'Remedies from the Quran' one does as he has said in his book one can subjagate men and jinn. Also what is the Islamic Ruling on Qasidas?.

Answer

It is permissible to learn the technique of controlling Jinns. However, it
is an arduous task with many constraints on ones personal life.
