Is it permissible to pay ones debts off with interest money ?

Answer

If a person is poor and needy and is eligible to accept Zakaat, he is also eligible to accept interest money.

If such a person is given interest money, he becomes the soul owner of the amount and he may use the money as he wishes, that includes paying his debts.
