mufti sahib, is the transplant of ones own hair from the back of head to front of head is allowed. also, if the removal of abdominal and leg fat via liposuction is allowed in islam.

Question

both procedures are done to look good both for others and the spouses.

Answer

1) The transplant of one's own hair from the back of the head to the front is permissible.
2) The removal of fat by the process of liposuction is permissible only if there is an urgent need for it. If a reliable physican advices that you should remove the the fat for health reasons you may do so. However, if it is removed for cosmetic reasons it is not permissibile.
