My husband is a convert. He has not informed his parents as he does not want to upset them. Name change not done due to legal problem in our home country. But we gave a Muslim name to our child.

Answer

You state your husband is a convert. Alhamdulillah, for that. We are further
encouraged to learn that he even gave a Muslim name to your child.

It is natural for your husband to consider the feelings of his parents. You
should assist him in pondering upon a suitable way to inform his parents
about his conversion to Islam.
