Incase dr. feel that the child may not be healthy they will suggest abortion to us.Is this kind of blood test permitted under Shariah ?

My wife is closed to 3 months pregnant and she had someproblems in the initial phases of pregnancy.The Dr has informed that they can do a blood test after 3 months to determine if the child will be fully healthy or will there be a chance that it could have some problems.Incase they feel that the child may not be healthy they will suggest abortion to us.Is this kind of blood test permitted under Shariah ?
Answer
It is permissible to undergo a blood test to determine the health of the child.
The issue of abortion is different and should be referred at that time for a Shari?ah ruling.
