A Muslim jamaat in Philadelphia says to delay someones shahada is kufr and that the dalil is in the Holy Qu'ran. Please, is this correct?

Answer

If a person wants to accept Islam, one should embrace the opportunity and
explain the person the different tenets of Islam as soon as possible. One
should not delay in accomplishing acts of virtue.

However, delaying in doing so will not be Kufr.
