I am unmarried.I own an account of 18 lac and have jewellery above 7 1/2 tolas.Do i have to pay zakat myself or should my father pay it for me on cash and jewellery???

Answer

If you are an adult(attained puberty), then it is your responsibility to discharge your Zakat. Your father may discharge your Zakat with your consent.
